VPN
Does your business have separate locations that need to be connected for voice or data services? Do you work from home frequently and need access to your company’s network, computer or phone system (PBX)? Desert Winds Wireless can provide a VPN (Virtual Private Network) between your business locations, home and office or any remote location. VoIP
VoIP or Voice over Internet Protocol, is an internet standard for providing voice (phone) services over the Internet. Companies such as Vonage™, Packet8™ and a host of others provide VoIP services over a broadband Internet connection. The Motorola Canopy™ used by Desert Winds Wireless is geared specifically for VoIP services. Motorola Canopy uses High Priority links and GPS timing to synchronize the network and ensure that VoIP packets are transmitted quickly and timely. Desert Winds Wireless is currently working on securing agreements to provide our own VoIP services to our customers. Desert Winds Wireless customers are welcome to use Vonage™ or any other VoIP provider. Our network is designed, GPS synched and timed to provide reliable VoIP calls.
